The Council attributed the award of the contract to KD (Garage) and the new EURO 5 Canter to the unrivalled payload and superior specification of the vehicle. Fuel economy and low emissions delivered by the Euro 5 (EEV compliant) engine were also important factors in the awarding of the contract.
